How WorkLink collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information.

This document sets out the intended structure of WorkLink's terms. It has not yet been reviewed by an Australian legal practitioner and must not be relied on as the final agreement. Questions in the meantime go to support.

Our obligations

WorkLink handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Account information such as your name, email address, phone number and, for partners, business details including your ABN.

Enquiry information: quotes, projects, messages and reviews.

Technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, collected to keep accounts secure and to detect abuse.

Identity verification

Identity verification is completed by a trusted partner. Identity documents are provided directly to that partner and are not stored by WorkLink. We receive and retain only the outcome of the check.

Who we share information with

Trusted partners who help us operate the marketplace, including identity checks, file storage, email, hosting and partner subscription billing.

The other party to a transaction: a buyer and professional who transact see the information necessary to complete the work.

Law enforcement or regulators where we are required or authorised by law.

Access, correction and complaints
