Terms of service

WorkLink is an online marketplace operated by WorkLink Australia Pty Ltd that connects customers with independent professionals in Australia.

WorkLink is not a party to the contract for services between a customer and a professional. We provide discovery, profiles, quotes, messaging and project tracking. Settlement for the work is arranged directly between the parties. The work itself is performed by the professional.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Australian law.

Partners may complete identity verification to earn a Verified badge. It is optional and is not required to publish a listing. Partners must hold any licence, registration or insurance their trade requires.

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars and, where the professional is registered for GST, are inclusive of GST.

WorkLink charges partners a subscription for listings, messaging, quotes and advertising. WorkLink does not process payment for the professional's work, and does not take a commission from that settlement.

Partner subscriptions are billed according to the plan you choose. Card details for those subscriptions, if collected, are handled by a billing partner and are never stored by WorkLink.

A quote is an offer from a professional to a buyer. Either party may request changes, and the professional may issue revised versions. Only the most recent version of a quote may be accepted.

Once a quote is accepted, it is locked, a project is created, and the terms of that version become the agreed scope of work. Settlement is arranged directly between the customer and the professional.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, presents a risk to other users, or is used unlawfully. Where practical we will explain why and give you a chance to respond.
